We Need Funding

As-Salaam-Alaikum,

This is an update from the organizers of Omani's Story. Unfortunately, due to financial limitations, we were not able to make it to the Washington, D.C. rally. We are, however, organizing a non-profit organization in Omani's name to alleviate the problem of missing events because of lack of funds.
We need you help. We are establish Omani's Story non-profit organization to help families fight for social injustices. Please follow the link above to find out why Omani's Story is an important cause to be a part of.
Also, please read the following letter, as our pledge, and get involved. Donate, volunteer, join our letter writing campaign to Glen Beck, a reporter for Fox News, who is determined to expose the corruption in the Child Protection Agencies across America. May God Bless All who do more than just talk, but are led to action to stop injustices. Thank You and Read ON......

Helping Families Fight Social Injustices
August 25, 2009
Dear Prospective Board Member:
I'm pleased to invite you to become a member of Omani’s Story non-profit organization Business Advisory Board for 2009-10. Our first meeting is scheduled on Saturday, October 24, 2009 beginning at 1p.m. This special event will be held at the Waterfront Hotel at Jack London Square.
As one of the wise and mature members in our community, being a member of Omani’s Story Business Advisory Board provides you with a stellar opportunity to make a difference in the lives of the people in our community. This non-profit organization needs a new direction. A person with your experience and insight would be the perfect person to help Omani’s Story become a success.
I will certainly cover any expenses you incur from attending advisory board meetings, also, a hearty and healthy meal will be provided at each meeting. Operating since 2009, Omani’s Story provides a spectrum of business services to clients ranging from: promotional fundraising through graphics design, resources, referrals, and mental health services. First started as a family operation run from an apartment, Omani’s Story is looking to expand to a fully operational facility in order to provide more services to the community. We continue to focus on filling our clients' needs completely and fully; our company motto is "Helping families fight social injustices".
The main purpose of the Omani’s Story Business Advisory Board is to provide management advice about the direction the company should follow. Specific goals for this year include:
~ Define company policies and functions
~ Find real estate location
~ Revamping/updating Omani’s Web presence
~ Funding
The Business Advisory Board will meet two times this year, each meeting consisting of a dinner and following two hour discussion. There may also be some follow-up questions/discussions by email. Because of the nature of the matters to be discussed, members will need to sign a confidentiality agreement.
Thank you for taking the time to read this letter and to consider being a part of Omani’s Story non-profit organization Business Advisory Board. I will be in touch with you soon but in the meantime, I’m available to discuss any questions you may have. You can reach me by phone at (510) 832-3302 or via email at omaniosb@yahoo.com.
